TOGETHER, WE WILL HEAL OUR WOUNDS…
Dear Colleague;
Our country has experienced the disaster of the century with earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş that affected 11 provinces. While thousands of our citizens lost their lives, thousands more were left homeless. As an industry, we will stand together in solidarity with our stationery store owners in the provinces devastated by the earthquake.
We believe that our country, which bears the pain of the earthquake in its heart, will overcome these difficult days through the spirit of solidarity, and as TÜKİD, we stand by our stationery retailer colleagues who have lost their families, homes, and livelihoods. As an industry, we are preparing to take steps toward a united effort to ease the suffering of our stationery retailer colleagues and help them heal.
In this context, we have focused on the projects we plan to implement in the near and long term.
The link to the high-resolution poster we’ve created for our donation campaign is provided below. We encourage you to print this poster and display it in your stores, warehouses, and workplaces, and to distribute it wherever possible. We look forward to your support for our campaign.

To discuss how we might alleviate the suffering of our colleagues affected by the earthquake, even if only slightly, we first held a virtual meeting on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, to which we invited all our members across Turkey. Immediately following this meeting, our board of directors began developing a roadmap. As part of this effort, we will be taking one of the first and most important steps by launching our support project at the Istanbul Stationery and Office Supplies Fair, which will take place from February 22–26.
The donations made by our members, colleagues, and all participating companies at our trade show, within their means, will be used to help our stationery industry colleagues affected by the disaster recover. Posters prepared for this campaign will be displayed at the booths of participating companies wishing to support the project.
OUR ASSOCIATION WILL CONTRIBUTE 250,000 TL TO OUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN…
The support that all segments of our industry—manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, and retailers—as well as companies operating in complementary sectors such as toys, publishing, and shelving, will provide to our project is of vital importance for our recovery.
Our Board of Directors is holding various meetings with domestic and international companies regarding support for our campaign.
It is of the utmost importance that contributions to the campaign be submitted to TÜKİD within the first two months following the fair in order to ensure the campaign is properly organized.
Exhibiting companies wishing to participate in the campaign tukid@tukid.org Please contact us at the address below.
The names of the companies participating in and supporting the campaign will be announced on-site during the fair, published in Frekans Magazine, and shared on our website.
As shared with those present at the meeting held on February 15, a committee has also been established to address this matter. This committee will oversee the process related to the campaigns planned for the near and long term and will work to ensure that the relevant projects and support initiatives are structured as quickly and effectively as possible.
