The Istanbul Association of Exporters of Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Presents a Meaningful Award to Tükid

At the “Metallic Stars of Export” Awards Ceremony, organized by the Association of Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters to celebrate its export achievements, organizations that have contributed to exports and sectoral development were also honored.

At the sector’s awards ceremony, which marked the close of 2025 with an export volume of $13.5 billion—a 6.3% increase—the All Stationery Retailers Association (TÜKİD) was honored with the award for associations supporting the sector and exports.

TÜKİD, which stands out for its contributions to the sector’s development, its export-oriented vision, and the sustainable support it provides to its members, has once again demonstrated that its efforts have been recognized with this meaningful award. The award, presented to TÜKİD at a ceremony organized by İDDMİB, was accepted by Taha Keresteci, Chairman of the TÜKİD Board of Directors. Keresteci stated that this meaningful award represents recognition not only for an association but for all stakeholders in the stationery sector, spanning from production to export. Keresteci emphasized that TÜKİD will steadfastly continue its efforts to strengthen sectoral solidarity and increase export capacity.

Speaking at the ceremony, Çetin Tecdelioğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İDDMİB, noted that despite challenging global and local conditions, the Turkish metal industry successfully concluded 2025 thanks to its robust production infrastructure and flexible structure, and announced that they have set an export target of $15 billion for 2026. The awards ceremony was also attended by Volkan Ağar, Deputy Minister of Trade, and Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly.

The “Metallic Stars of Export” ceremony stood out as a platform that honored not only successful companies but also institutions and organizations that contribute to production, design, sustainability, and the vision for export. The award received by TÜKİD was regarded as a significant indicator of the stationery sector’s export-oriented development vision and its contribution to the Turkish economy.
