 KOSGEB (Development Union of Small and Mid Sized Companies) has changed regulations in subsidies for exhibitions. KOSGEB, which has supported most B2B fairs for years, has recently changed the principles in exhibitions.
The law is legislated on 23rd April 2005 containing 23 different types of sub subsidies.
-National fair subsidies
-International b2b fair subsidies.
-Supports for Turkish pavilions
-Individual fair support in oversees b2b fairs.
Briefly, the fees of the rented space in national events which is between 6sqm to 24sqm, 6spq to 30sqm in oversees fairs will be covered by KOSGEB. For national events, which the sqm fee is 143YTL, will be eligible to have financial support in up to the exceed limit of 100sqm. The overall subsidies can not exceed accounted space of 1500sqm or more than % 40 for the overall rented space.
Similarly, the supported limit of 100YTL/sqm accounts for up to 60YTL will be covered in national events.
